Logo for the 28th Chesterton Conference

logo

below are a couple other versions I liked. It's a challenge to do the conference logo because of the amount of text that needs to be in there. Be sure to check in with the American Chesterton Society in the next few weeks to get more info on the Conference which will be in Seattle this year.

The logo, is of course, based on this essay by Chesterton from Trifles

Wow, Ted, this final version is really fantastic. It's a good drawing and a good palette and an excellent example of what "graphic design" is about.

Oh man, these are great!!! I love them all, particularly the third one

I like third one-seems best balance between picture and type.

Nice. Your hand-lettering is great, as always!

Very good and especially very Chesterton. I believe your final choice is correct

Seattle?? And I was thinking that I'd finally make it to the Conference this year. Oh well.

Love the broom. The others were too passive by comparison.

I believe the conference will be moving around every year, so who knows, maybe it will be closer to you next year.
