This September, Partridge Hill Media will introduce an all new magazine for Catholic homeschoolers. The Catholic Home Educator does not espouse any one method of homeschooling, but rather the common goal of all Catholic homeschoolers, which is to raise saints.
CHE is in need of a logo which illustrates Catholic education at home. Interested artists should contact Nissa Gadbois nissa@partridgehillmedia.com
Additionally, we are considering running a monthly comic strip geared to homeschooling. If you have an interest in working with us to develop such a project, please contact Nissa at the same email address with the subject line "CHE Comic".
The Catholic Home Educator will be published monthly as an ePub available on a range of eReaders. Highlights of content will be available on our website. If you should wish writer's guidelines, you may request them at the above email address.

Job posting: Online Rosary
From Greg Werking:
I am a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, and this is my dream...
I am building a Catholic Rosary website, www.onlinerosary.org
Users will be able to join a prayer room and and wait with other
international users for the room to fill up. Once the room is
filled, the users will be able to view the text of the Rosary
prayers on a scrolling marquee where the words of the prayer (maybe
only five words on the screen at a time, rolling right to left).
This will allow users from all over the world to say the exact same
words in different international languages at the same time, and
pray the Rosary together.
I envision an illustrator drawing a picture of the Virgin Mary and
or Jesus with their arms outstretched and between them are the words
of the Rosary for the users to pray.
With an illustration I will be able to change the picture of the
Virgin Mary. One week she may look like the Virgin of Guadalupe,
the next Fatima.
I am looking for someone who might be interested in this? I am also open to other ideas.
Thank you,
Maranatha,
Greg Werking

Job Posting...
Partridge Hill Media is seeking an illustrator for the reprint of a small children's prayer book from the early 1900s. We plan for the book to be printed in digest size with a hard cover and dust jacket.
We require::
- a cover illustration
- 6 feature illustrations TBD
- several spot illustrations (flowers, boats, angels, small children, animals/insects)
- scrolls/garlands
PHM has a strong preference for watercolour illustrations evocative of the 1920's era. Other media will be considered if it meets the needs of this project. Sample illustrations (up to 3) on the theme should be scanned and emailed to info@partridgehillmedia.com by no later than 15 July. Publisher will purchase all rights to the use of the illustrations (with credit). Price for the work to be negotiated upon acceptance of the artist's commission. This project must be completed by no later than 22 August.
