What would you see through the eyes of an angel? That's the topic explored in the children's book Gabriel's Glasses. It's the story of Gabriel, a clumsy angel who wears glasses and a little girl named Sara Quinn who stumbles upon them. When she puts them on, she's able to see everything of heaven. The story stays true to Catholic theology and explores topics such as guardian angels, prayers to Saints, the mass and the Eucharist. This book needs a solid Catholic illustrator who can bring life to scenes such as angels in flight, prayers like incense, shimmering light from the exposed blessed Sacrament and Jesus himself during the Epiclesis.
