My son loves (and I mean LOVES) the film My Neighbor Tororo by Hayao Miyazaki. Luckily we live near a large pan-Asian mall that carries Studio Ghibli products, so he now has a cuddly stuffed Totoro (or, "Oro" as he calls it) that he got as his birthday present. I also gave him this card:
The large, happy, and sometimes sleepy Totoro in the movie reminded me of a certain English writer. G.K. Chesterton once invited some children over for a party. After one of the children arrived back home, his parents asked him what witty or profound things Mr. Chesterton had said. The child couldn't remember anything GKC said, but declared that "you should see him catch buns in his mouth!"

Totoro as chesterton = awesome.
This is a really fun piece -has Gilbert Magazine ever done a review of Totoro?
Thanks!
I don't know if Gilbert has reviewed Totoro... seems like it would fit in quite nicely.
Awesome card! and funny sketch and story... LOL
