Good luck selling on ebay. It's tough to do so, as there are thousands and thousands of artists trying to do the same thing, and it often happens that one's work is lost in the shuffle.

You should try selling on etsy.com. It's like ebay, only everything on it is "handmade" and therefore it is much more artist friendly.
I think Abigail has a shop on etsy, so you could ask her about specifics. I do know, as a shopper, it is a blast to browse through their stuff. I buy a lot of gifts and art from them.
I haven't sold art personally through Etsy, but had some up there as part of a charity auction.
I do know a lot of people that have had really good results with Ebay. I like Etsy for the handmade/indie crafter vibe, but I think in terms of reaching a larger market Ebay is probably the way to go...
