Just trying some things out in photoshop. I'm interested in being able to color digitally, but mimic the look of more traditional media. Here's an attempt at trying to keep the colors looking like watercolor, with some paper texture thrown in over it all.

did you use photoshop brushes to create this?
I don't know if I would say it looks like watercolor, but at least it doesn't look digital.
I used a standard brush, but played with the jitter and consistency of the ink flow. It stopped the color from looking flat, but it doesn't have that translucency of watercolor. I've seen a bunch of tutorials on the net, so I think I'll keep trying some things out with it.
