Ariel Agemian, 20th Century Catholic Artist

I just wanted to introduce everybody to an artist I really admire.

Ariel Agemian is the artist who created The Face of Christ.  He is also the artist who did the dozens of vivid black and white illustrations in the version of the Imitation of Christ that is published by the Confraternity of the Precious Blood.

I wrote a bio of him some years ago for Catholic Faith Magazine.  If I ever come across it again I will see if I can post it.  Meanwhile, Agemian's daughter Annig Raley maintains a great website of all things Agemian.

Hello John,

Thank you for sharing the Agemian website.
I recall our conversation and your well-written article on my father.

With appreciation,
