Beautiful! Love the colors. Dan, can you explain the symbolism of the spoon(?) and the chest(?)please?
Yes, that is a medicine box and the spoon used to administer the medicine, traditional symbols of a doctor/healer. Also, Raphael's cloak is green, the colour of healing.
The blemish near the bend of his left arm is a glitch in the scanner, I am told. Regina is going to fix it...
Also, when you click on the image it should be larger, but not larger than life, like it now is (the original icon is 9" x 12").
Beautiful! The hair and face are particularly nice, as is the lettering.
My only criticism is that the green is a little jarring (at least as it shows in the scan). I would have gone with a more earthy green.
It seems to work well in the actual painting, btw. (Which is right next to me)
