Yeah, I feel pretty ambivalent about this theme, but it is true that mythology abounds in warrior women, and I would be the first to celebrate saints such as Joan of Arc. So...here was the logo I developed for the Mythopoeic Society folks' convention for next summer....

Nicely drawn horse! And I like how the wingtips extend beyond the circle. Not so crazy about the font...

And, yes, I believe there really _has_ been something called Mythcon for 39 straight years(!). That puts the first in 1969. Spooky, huh?
