Crosshatching on the Path to Virtue
Here's another Alphabet picture and I've noticed I've gotten a lot, I don't know, busier with my penwork lately. I hope it doesn't look overworked. My goal, since I can't color these with watercolor, is to be detailed enough in the penwork that I can lay in mostly flat colors with photoshop.

Wonderful! I love the worn look of the stairs, somehow it adds a layer of meaning to the image.

No, this looks good. You've kept the focus where it needs to be, despite the cross-hatching.

Thanks. I colored this last night and it's turned out to be one of the better ones in this series. I can't draw today for beans, though.
