A B C illustrations

Here, in various stages of completion, are a few pieces from an alphabet book that I'm illustrating for Seton Home Study School. They aren't perfect:













That's a lot of images. I guess that makes me, officially, a blog-clogger. Oh, and I also posted some sketchbook stuff over at my blog.

These are really lovely. I don't know of anyone who has a better feel for children, and especially for childrens' faces....

Ha ha! thanks, john. I've just had a lot of 26-28 picture series to work on lately. It does keep me hopping though.

Really wonderful Ben. They remind me of reading biblical stories when I was little. Your stuff's a lot better though.

Yeah, me too. But I like it because it's Angelica. I actually took a picture of her sweeping for a reference!
