Happy St. Benedict Day

I had hopes of having a drawing of Benedict done by today, but it was not to be.  I did finish another comic about the desert fathers/mothers and since they were the inspiration for Benedict's Rule, I though it was still fitting to post this today.

Pesky Demon

Here's a piece of a page I'm working on for another Desert Fathers comic.  In this story there was a particularly pesky demon trying to tempt a monk.

I don't think I have posted in three or four years.  In the meantime, I have been looking at a lot of Coptic textiles and reading the Saying of the Desert Fathers.  I made this comic based on one of the anecdotes in the book.
