This is a recently little picture I did from Chesterton’s
Ballad of the White Horse. From the beginning of Book Three: The Harp of Alfred. Alfred casts off his armor and other goods and leaves them in a crack in a tree. He plays a single note on his harp and a flock of finches fly out from the forest. See what you think:
